90-Day Goal: Day 63: Remember with Thanks

This week we have been leaning into the promises of God by looking at remember commands in the Bible. As we end this week you may naturally find yourself in a place to revisit “Remember the Sabbath” from earlier this week. You are designed to work from your rest.

Please take time to rest, reflect on all God has done in and through you this week in your weekly reflection, and enter into communion with God as you offer your work to him with gratitude.

Today I want to lift up a word from Paul in his letter to friends in Philippi (Phillppians 1:3-6): “I thank God every time I remember you.” Immediately we are brought into the warmth and intimacy of people who care about one another and are missing being together. Paul spent time with the people of Philippi, bringing people together to form the church, and training together in the ways of Jesus.

What is both beautiful and important for us here in week nine to remember is that we are not on this journey alone. Think about all the people who are helping you, whether directly or indirectly, crush your 90-Day Goal.

Friends who are going to the gym with you, a spouse who cleans the kitchen so you have time to write those 500 words, a coworker who is staying late to help you master that skill or mentor you to a promotion. Who is helping you be successful in your 90-Day Goal?

Tip 63: Remember with Thanks

Go back a little further in your story to remember the people who have brought you to this chapter and 90-Day Goal. How did they provide for you, equip you, challenge you? Take note of when a smile comes to your face and your heart sings a song and thank God for those people in your life.

Maybe it is Jesus himself that is at the forefront in this exercise of remembering. How has Jesus provided for you or shown up for you in a way you did not expect, either in this 90-Day Goal or in the past? His faithfulness and presence is worthy of praise and can be relied upon as you enter the final weeks of this 90 Day Goal. He will not leave or abandon you!

Your community of friends, coworkers, family and Younique coaches are all a part of your 90-Day Goal together. Remember them and give thanks for the big and small ways they are helping you to reach your goals. Use this moment of gratitude to deepen your relationship with the Lord who provides for you and walks alongside each step of the way.

As I sign off here on week nine and day 63, a final gentle reminder to enter God’s command, “Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy,” that’s also an invitation to work out of your rest!

Please send me your questions, challenges, and suggestions as we continue in the 90-Day Goal Together. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing the journey with you.
