On track? Off track? Ahead of goal or behind? At this stage of your 90-Day Goal you may have settled into a pattern and it is feeling good. Or you may be feeling stretched and uncomfortable, wondering how you are going to keep the focus and resolve to reach your goal. Your weekly reflection on week 2 will give you insight on what needs to be revised or tweaked to charge forward confidently.

But what if your goal is what needs attention? In other words, you may be realizing that the way you named your goal or set the measures for its success are not right. This is the perfect time to revise and tweak that goal.  It’s your goal! There is no rule that says you cannot refine your goal once you are underway.

One of the key competencies of life design is crafting a 90 Day Goal. At Younique, we encourage you to consider the SMART goal framework as a guide. The Art of Setting SMART Goals is one of many solid resources on this widely used tool.

Tip 15: SMART Goals for Clarity

While there are many useful tools for setting goals, this one is particularly helpful in the timeframe we are addressing here: 90 Days. The framework of a SMART Goal is:

S – Specific
M – Measurable
A – Attainable
R – Relevant
T – Timely

This week we will dive into each one of these components of a SMART goal and open the possibility of tweaking or revising your 90 Day Goal. This is great practice for the life long skill of setting short term goals that both inspire and challenge you to become the best version of yourself and make your ultimate contribution.

Please send me your questions, challenges, and suggestions as we continue in the 90-Day Goal Together. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing the journey with you.
