This is your moment. This is the time God has given you. Seize the day.
Your 90-Day Goal is set on specific days of the calendar—beginning on one day of this year and ending 90 days later. “T” in SMART stands for “timely” because not all goals in our lives are time-bound. However, by definition, our 90-Day Goal already meets this criteria.
Day 20: Time Will Tell
When setting your 90-Day Goal, look at your real life and the ninety days that are on deck. What will be happening in your life this quarter? If you have to have surgery, host your daughter’s wedding, or move across the country, then there is a very good chance that your ninety day goal will be specific to that major life event.
If, however, you have room in your life and the ability to cultivate something new then go ahead and venture out. This is a great opportunity to experiment and possibility change your trajectory!
Name a specific date on the calendar, such as “By March 30, 2021 I will …” as you begin naming your 90-Day Goal to keep it timely.
