What goes around comes around is a phrase we have all heard and used. Essentially it is speaking to what Paul writes to the Galatians—you will reap what you sow.
You Increase Your Value When You Help Others Increase Their Value
While we believe in the generous outpouring of both mercy and grace from our heavenly Father, there is a lesson to be learned by the way we treat others. At Younique we say it like this, the more we help other people win with their lives the more we will win with our lives.
Increase the value in your life by helping others to increase value in their lives. By no means is this a one-for-one trade or a set formula. Rather it is an acknowledgement that value is a two way street. We live with an abundance mindset, not a scarcity mindset.
The more goodness and value that we sow, the more it can be reaped not only in our lives but in the lives of the people around us.
Tip 35: Give Value to Get Value
As we wrap up these tips relating to increasing value in our lives, it is crucial to remember that we are called to be in community. We don’t exist on an island, going about our 90-Day Goal for our own sake.
Rather, as followers of Jesus we believe that we are called to glorify God and serve others with our life. In serving others we increase their value and God increases the value in our lives through the gift of participating with him in the restoration of all things.
It May Take Time for Your Contribution to Come to Fruition
Sometimes the value increase in your life from being for others will be direct and obvious. Other times the value will be indirect and you will never see the harvest from the seed you sowed. But we can be assured of is God nurtures what we offer in the world and the blessing is experienced by many.
Increasing value is a holy pursuit. Give value to others by helping them to win with their lives. Use your 90-Day Goal to make you more aware of how your success fuels the success of others around you. Your ability to increase value will inspire and bless others in ways we may never fully understand.
As Paul says, “At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.”
