These are all familiar phrases that call us to dig deep, rise up, and get moving. These short phrases ignite our imagination and connect us to that dream we have for our lives that lies at the heart of our 90-Day Goal. Sometimes known as a rally cry or battle cry, these few words release a ton of energy and giddyup.
Create a Mantra to Stay Focused on Your Personal Goal
As we crush our 90-Day Goal, we need to stay motivated and focused on the prize. Creating your own short phrase that reconnects you to the reason you set the goal. Because we are focused on motivation, we will call it your Motivation Mantra.
Tip 46: Create Your Own Motivation Mantra.
Sometimes you will scream it from the mountaintops in celebration of overcoming an obstacle or choosing to lean instead of quit. Other times you will growl your motivation mantra under your breath as you fight through the pain using the words to rally our spirit and get you through it.
To get your Motivation Mantra, start brainstorming a few ideas that are tightly related to your 90-Day Goal. Words and phrases that already exist are perfectly good to adopt and use for yourself. Of course you can get creative and come up with a new one just for you and your goal in this specific moment.
Once you have a Motivation Mantra, put it where you can see it each day. Set it as the wallpaper on your phone, write it on a card and tape to your bathroom mirror, write it each day in your planner as both a reminder and a source of inspiration.
