There are days—maybe today—when you are crushing it! Of course you are doing great because you are inspired, you are determined, and you are ready to crush your 90-Day Goal.

Understand How Motivation Works to Maximize it Toward Your Personal Goals

We are wrapping up a week all about motivation. Motivation is dynamic, it comes and it goes. Because motivation rises and falls it is very helpful to know how to grow it and keep it working for you in your life.

Enjoy the times when your motivation surges and you move your 90-Day Goal forward with ease and a sense of accomplishment. We call these bursts of energy “surges.” When you are in a surge then maximize it! Ride the wave, using the energy to take some ground and enjoy the progress you are making toward your 90-Day Goal.

Tip 49: Surge Ahead

When you are in a surge, share it with others. Don’t keep it to yourself. Sharing your surge will not only bring you joy but can also encourage others who need the motivation to keep going. I am not suggesting that we brag. Give glory to God, thank people who are a part of your team, make a special note in your planner. When you hit the days when it is really hard to get motivated, use these notes to remind you that slips turn to surges.

Build Rhythms That Contribute to Keeping Motivation Strong

Would you like more surges in your life? We all do! Surges come from good rest. We are designed by God to work from our rest. At Younique we call the rhythms of renewal our NOW rhythms. These rhythms bring us rest, joy, energy, and goodness. Exercise, sleep, game nights are all examples of activities that fuel us and keep the surges lasting longer and more frequent in our lives.

Surge ahead and sail past your 90-Day Goal. Mind your motivation and use it to keep you pressing forward toward reaching your goal.
