What is the last movie that you watched that brought you to tears? Or the last video that was shared with you that brought tears to your eyes? I cry at Kleenex commercials even though I know they are strategically crafted to manipulate my emotions. And I don’t care. It feels so good to be connected to the moment of transformation or grace being told in the story. A great story is a testimony to God’s love and outpouring of grace in our lives.
Celebration is not a selfish act, but rather one that points to God’s generous gifts of grace and love. And that inspires the rest of us to celebrate. It inspires us to trust God with our dreams and the desires of our hearts. Your story inspires me to experience the grace and beauty of God showing up in my story when I live for him.
Tell your story and celebrate!
You may never know who hears your story and is moved to put their trust in God. You may never know the great things someone does for another person because you shared your story. You may never know the intimacy with God someone is blessed to experience because your story ushered them to the throne of grace.
You may inspire yourself to set another 90-Day Goal. But you are sure to inspire someone else that you know or someone will never know to take the risk and live into the person God designed them to be. Whether you inspire a laugh or a good cry, your celebration inspires others. So celebrate because we need you and your story to put a spotlight on God’s grace in our lives. Inspire others by crossing the finish line tomorrow and giving testimony to all God did these past weeks and how you are more the person God designed you to be because of your effort.
